Hey everyone!
I managed to get myself a real job last week. As of May 23rd, I will be the
new Marketing Coordinator for Spectrum Communications. The company deals
with Motorola and Telus paging, radio, and cellular products for other
companies. They have contracts with companies such as the City of London,
Ford Motor Company, Toyota, and many others.
Essentially, I will be doing their marketing for them, designing and
distributing advertisements, travelling to trade shows and open houses,
planning events, etc.
That's right, only one more week at ol' Players! I'm going to miss the
cash, but I'm finally taking a step in the right direction and we'll see
how things go. I was really hoping to get a position with the John Labatt
Centre, but unfortunately there isn't enough funding for me yet. I've still
got my fingers crossed though, and I WILL work there one day.
Anyhow, I will remain in London now that I have this new job, so those of
you who are in London (or are planning on visiting us again) keep in touch
and perhaps we could have yet another CCPR night out on the town.
