Hello all,

I wish I was writing because I had exciting news but I’m not. There’s really not much new with me at all, well except that I moved into my new apartment a few weeks ago. I love it here – minus the noise of downtown. I have to say that living in the “East End” was much more peaceful!

I’m actually writing because my office is looking for more help. We’re looking for an outside sales rep as well as an inside sales rep for our London Spectrum Wireless location (79 Wellington St.).

POSITION                              SUMMARY:                       Is responsible for the developing and delivering communication materials and community related educational initiatives; provides strategic advice to the senior management team on communication media strategies focused on the promotion of emergency services; an understanding of business strategy and the ability to provide communication expertise to both external and internal audiences; evaluates outreach activities and community education programs; public education programs and special community events are relative to emergency services, specifically Emergency Medical Services, 9-1-1 Services, Community Emergency Management,  and Flood Coordination; and facilitates internal education sessions and provides advice.          MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:                           College and/or university degree/diploma in journalism, public relations, communications or a related discipline; demonstrates ability to foster communication networks, build strong teams and develop relationships within larger organizations; knowledge or paramedic service operations, emergency communications and disaster management would be an asset.

Darren Has A Job!

Since he won’t do this himself, because I don’t think he knows the blog exists, I want to congratulate Darren for getting a job at the iPR Group in Toronto. I don’t have any further information, but he’s excited, and he’ll be learning a lot very quickly – their staff is small, so Darren will work directly with the top gun at iPR.
